I know how crazy it sounds when I’m telling you that we do something first before our brain make the decision.
This is the information obtained; however I strongly disagree with the finding. It was not about that I distrust the experiment or finding but well maybe the machine not sensitive enough to detect the minor brain wave.
Although there are evidence showed that brain only started to make decision making process after we acted on it. The hypothesis was saying that the consciousness had taken over the brain during the decision process and the brain only start to ‘work’ after the consciousness made the decision. Confuse? Below may enlighten you:-
Action ---------- consciousness (make decision)
Brain ------- start to think after the action
Conclusion, our brain did not make the decision for us but the consciousness does.
I’ve argued that this hypothesis is valid provided the consciousness is real exit and even so, what about free will? Does human really have free will when consciousness has taking over the decision making part.
Hence, I’m strongly believed that our brain does participate in the decision making process just that the technology in the current era not able to detect the brain wave.
P/S: still believe in consciouness...
